The mission of the Climate Science Alliance is to safeguard natural and human communities in the face of a changing climate.
We do this through leading activities and creating partnerships which increase awareness of climate change impacts, promote solutions, and facilitate action.
HOW WE WORK
The Climate Science Alliance originally achieved smaller, sector-specific goals through three distinct working groups. As we have expanded the climate conversation, we have been able to embed all core focus areas into each one of our cross-sector projects.

BOUNDARY-SPANNING PROJECTS
Alliance partners focus their efforts on boundary-spanning projects by meeting in project-based working groups. Partners share skills, expertise, and knowledge in order to bridge the gap between research and application within the community.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHT
The Climate Science Alliance is helping to translate science in real time, build trust among partners, and garnering support for action. The following example demonstrates multiple ways we are translating science to various audiences and helping individuals see themselves as part of the solution.
