Anchor 1

ABOUT

In collaboration with Tribes and Tribal Professionals across the Nation, the Climate Science Alliance provides technical and staff support for projects, events, and planning. The Alliance also co-convenes the Tribal Working Group, working to build resilience specifically for Tribes in southern California.

TRIBAL WORKING GROUP

Through the use of education, environmental programs, and traditional ecological knowledge, and a focus on community priorities, local ecosystems, and holistic management, the Tribal Working Group collaborates to safeguard the lands and cultures of southern California’s Indian tribes from the threat of climate change.

The Tribal Work Group participants play a leadership role within the Climate Science Alliance and advise on projects, programming, and organizational leadership.
