Listen to the SCGIS Webinar: The U.S. Climate Resilience Toolkit

Presenter, Edward (Ned) Gardiner, summarizes "In 2014, NOAA launched an inter-agency website, toolkit.climate.gov, to help communities, businesses, and consultants serving distinct sectors of our economy to produce plans and targeted actions designed to improve resilience to climate-related hazards. Our target audience includes advanced data users and analysts such as yourselves, but most are planners and managers with no explicit training in climate or geoinformatics. I will introduce multiple pathways for discovering and using tools and data so that you can be effective in your current role as an analyst but also so you can become more skillful introducing concepts and planning approaches with people outside your own domain of expertise."
