Sherman Elementary Garden Festival Recap ~ May 25, 2017

Climate Science Alliance Staff along with Climate Kids Ambassador Melissa Nuñez, Cabrillo National Monument, and Affiliated Artist Joan Green all came together to participate in Sherman Elementary's Garden Festival on May 25, 2017. Students and families had a blast learning about native pollinators, plants, and things they can do to help the Earth. Students made scientific observations about some of the species important to our local ecosystems and made commitments to help the Earth based on our "Climate Kids in Action" 10 Things poster. Check out photos of this awesome event that reached the community of Logan Heights.
