CSA Reaches Otay Valley Community During Trail Workshop

The Climate Science Alliance was invited to join various state, local and federal land management agencies for a public workshop in Otay, San Diego on the evening of Wednesday, June 20th. The workshop was led by the County of San Diego to provide updates on the creation of a new sustainable trail system that links to nearby existing trails while planning for sensitive species and environmental protection. The workshop welcomed Otay Valley community members who use the public trails, inviting input on this exciting new trail plan.

Check out the photos below to see exhibit highlights and Climate Kids hands-on activities that we brought to the workshop! A special thank you to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife for inviting us to exhibit alongside their team and learn about land management outreach in San Diego.
